First note – make sure you’re aware of what this size will look like. It’s a lot bigger than I expected, which was a nice surprise. Easily comfortable for a whole family to sit on for a picnic. Lots of nice little bits, eg. Pegs, bag, other cords which I haven’t needed yet. It fits back in the bag quite easily, you don’t need to fold it in a really specific way. Good product.

I haven’t tried this picnic mat out yet, but it’s a good size and seems easy to fold. I like the fact it has pegs to secure it down in sand or soft ground, and can be used as an awning or wind break, if there’s something suitable to tie it to using the straps provided. It’s great that the bag is attached to the mat and can’t blow away or be lost.It can be washed on a 30 degree wash – good should there be spillages – but I guess it wouldn’t be warm to sit on like a rug.

The great thing about this product is that it is small, lightweight, compact and easy to carry. It opens up to a space that would fit at least three adults laying down, easily. The sand and water comes right off. The material is that of a typical tarp, but this one is much thinner and lighter, hence, the easy travel size. Don’t expect any comfort, as you are placing this on the grass/floor/ sand that is hard. It has no padding whatsoever. The easiest thing I can compare this material to is the floor of a tent. It came with four plastic stakes that came very handy, given the windy day at the beach. Regardless , if it is windy or not, I would still use the stakes to keep the blanket securely in place. Overall, great product and would recommend it.

Then there is a bunch of straps which took a while to figure out what they’re for but then realised using the straps it can be used as a canopy.Once we opened the blanket, we were surprised to see how big it actually is. The fabric looks thin but its very deceptive and feels thick. We will be using this under the swimming pool we have bought recently when the weather gets better (raining in the North East UK at the moment)So far I’m super impressed with it. Tested item with water from the tap and it runs off the fabric.Definately proves we use our eyes to buy items and shows how deceptive our minds can be!

I haven’t tried this picnic mat out yet, but it’s a good size and seems easy to fold. I like the fact it has pegs to secure it down in sand or soft ground, and can be used as an awning or wind break, if there’s something suitable to tie it to using the straps provided. It’s great that the bag is attached to the mat and can’t blow away or be lost.It can be washed on a 30 degree wash – good should there be spillages – but I guess it wouldn’t be warm to sit on like a rug.

The material is thin which allows it to fold to a small compact size. The blanket bag can’t be lost as it is stitched to the blanket. Also included are ground pegs which is nice! I and my family have been using this product for about 10 days in the beaches (and the heat) of Miami. The blanket, which is actually a single layer polyester cover (does not have a cushion), is lightweight, easy to fold and carry (comes with a bag), and seems to be durable. Most important, and that was my main concern, it does not get hot even under direct sunlight. Fits my need and was what I was looking for. Would give it a 5-star if it was a bit cheaper, but am happy with the purchase anyway.

So we beach it pretty frequently, and in this time of social distancing were struggling to find a way to keep people further from our awning/umbrella. We struck on the idea of putting blankets on both sides of us (not just out front like we usually do) to keep people the requisite 6 feet away. These were light, super packable, not bulky at all and look like they will do a great job. My only complaint is the color is a fair bit darker than anticipated, in the pics it looks seafoam but in person its a dark sage.

It will work well at our local great lake. Not only do we have sand but pebbles and other various bits of debris that we can just shake off. Small enough to clip on to a backpack or cooler and you don’t have to worry about being weighted down.Downside I was expecting a blanket covering. Not what feels about the thickness of a tent wall with the same consistency. If you do read the product description it does explain the type of material is used which I did not read. Either way it’s a decent ground cover for a decent price.

This sheet is massive! I tried laying it across my living room floor to take pics and it was just too big! Will be great for party in the park, picnics, beach time, etc, and I can vouch for its waterproof claims – one of my dogs peed on it while it was on the floor and the mat just held it without it running through to my carpeted flooring.I laid mine folded by the back door for the dogs to come in from the rain and water just beads on it. A pretty decent tarp to put down at the beach or in the garden. The material feels and looks just like the side of a tent.I wouldn’t quite call it a blanket personally but I am very impressed with how small it folds down. The small bag (which is attached to the tarp) won’t get lost and I had no difficulty putting it all back in. Probably not going to be back in very well in strong winds.Ground pegs are strong and hold well, however I have only used this in the garden so far.

What a great sized beach mat – its huge at 2m x 2m and easily fits the whole family including the dog when we took it for a picnic the other day. Despite its size it folds nicely into a small bag (somewhat of a magic trick!) making it easily portable from the car to our outdoor destination, something of importance when there’s everything else to carry too. Waterproof and comfortable to touch, the blanket can also be washed in the machine which is highly useful when you have small children dropping all kinds of things onto it! Aesthetically pleasing too in a nice bright orange.

Don’t expect anything comfortable. It is as described. It is water proof, easy to fold, it fits back into its pouch, which is very small and fits everywhere. We loved it. If you are expecting comfy to sit on, then buy something else. But if you are going to use it to put beach stuff on it so it doesn’t get all sandy then it is awesome. It is not huge. I wanted bigger for social distancing, but it ended up being smaller based on what I was thinking of. But specs are there, it was my fault. It’s easy to lay down and the anchors it came with worked really well.

This is a large picnic / beach mat. Size wise is it big enough for a family of four. The mat is also really compact, and fits inside its own small nylon bag.The mat comes with 4 plastic pegs that can be used to secure it. These work like tent pegs, with one going through each corner to prevent it moving. The plastic pegs are fine for the beach and grass providing the ground is not completely parched. Alongside the pegs is a D ring for securing the bag to a rucksack.The mat is water resistant, and can certainly cope with damp sand or grass. As we tend not to go for a picnic when the weather is bad, we have not had opportunity to see if it will cope with very wet ground. It is also easy to clean, as is will simply wipe over. It is also washable, although we have not needed to do this yet.

It has 4 stakes included that help pin it to the ground but you can also put heavy stuff on it to keep it pinned. It is easy to clean off too. I typically use a double size cotton blanket for the beach and it does not dry out fast enough so the sand sticks and it’s incredibly heavy and messy to carry off the beach in a beach bag. I have not used this yet, but love the bag attached and the stakes.

I was originally looking for one of those mats where the sand just falls through however after checking online this seemed a better option. It comes in a tiny little bag that you wouldn’t expect to be able to hold the whole thing however it does, it fold out to a massive size, bug enough for a small family to sit on, the bag stays attached to the blanket itself so as not to lose it, it also came with a small carabena and 4 pegs for keeping it stuck down. It’s also water proof which we found out quite quickly when one of the kids dropped their drink as it did not soak in.All in a decent compact blanket for general use in picnics and outings

Amazingly light and small. Even more amazing is I’m able to take it out of the holder and use it, and then roll it back up, to fit back into the holder! The holder bag is even built in which is a great idea, especially as you can fill it with sand which gives extra confidence in it not blowing away in a strong wind. This is back up to the included pegs of course but we all know how useless pegs and sand can be.The only negative thing I would say is that the description says this is water resistant and the images say waterproof It’s not really. Water quite easily passes through. It’s definitely resistant to send though. Sand just repels from it with a quick shake.

This sheet is large and lightweight. I used it on a sandy beach and a simple shake removed all the same so it was ready to pack up for next time. The material isn’t what I was expecting. It’s a parachute fabric and thinner than I thought it was going to be. However it has an added benefit of being windproof so when the wind sprung up we wrapped up and used it as a blanket!

We used this on our recent Florida vacation. We kept all our towels, bags and coolers on it to keep from getting everything sandy. It did its job ! Everything stayed clean, the condensation from cooler rolled right off the mat. Just like with any mat the fold is never the same as when you first opened it, but we got it small enough to stuff back in the bag. We loved the bright orange color as it easily stood out on the beach for other family to find where we were. The 79×83 was the perfect size for all our belongings and for the occasional kid or adult to take a water break.

Took this on a road trip to a New Hampshire beach. This is fantastic! I love that it comes with spikes you run thru loops in the corners to keep it from blowing away. No more using shoes and bottles to hold the corners down. It’s a bit bigger than a full size bed. Folds up in a snap. Weighs about a pound. Comes with a carbiner clip to attach to your bag. It has it’s own carry bag and the stakes fit in it. We’ve flown with this and we haven’t had any issues with it. The stakes are plastic, but still sharp. Holds great in the sand and very sturdy. We placed our beach bag, shoes, and even laid on it. it was perfect if you don’t have lounge chairs! Two people fit perfectly. You just shake the sand off of it and pack it up! Great for cruises too. You don’t have to rent a chair..just use this. Great for a day trip!
