Just received these bottoms and couldn’t be happier. I’m 5’4 and 153 pounds and bought a large. Glad I did because the lace part of the material is baggy on me. It doesn’t hug my thighs, but lays nice and flat. The waist fits snug—but doesn’t cut into my skin. It hides the parts of my hips that I don’t like. Definitely could have fit into a medium—but am happy with the baggier look.

The large fit exactly like i expected, snug but not tight around the butt-ish area, legs a little looser so they weren’t constantly riding up my inner thigh.I also ordered a pair in XL just to see the difference. I like the way they fit too. I needed to tie the drawstring a little tighter on the XL pair. (Totally didn’t need the drawstring on the Large pair.) They don’t make you look like an old-lady, they’re just a pair of nylon shorts that will dry quickly if they get wet. I typically wear them fishing, and pack them in my camping bag. They have an underwear type liner, kind of the same as you get in a pair of running shorts. I’d buy them again.

Since my clothes have been getting looser on me lately (thank you, Noom!), and since I saw other reviews say to size down a little, I ordered the size 14/16.I really was putting my trust in those reviews since I’m pear shaped and have quite the booty compared to the rest of my body! But I’m so glad I did!! These shorts fit perfectly!I love that they sit right at the hips, well below the belly button. They came with one of those stickers in the groin area so you can try them on without underwear. And they do have a swim suit fitted bottom inside, they aren’t just loose board shorts. I was really concerned about that, wondering if these had that built in, and didn’t see anywhere that said they did have the bottoms built in (see pictures).My husband said he didn’t like the overlapping fabric at the sides; really, it’s shorts with extra fabric sewn past the side seam, so there can be more coverage over the booty. So, the front half ends above the back half, so it’s sewn accordingly into a weird side seam. After wearing them around for a bit, the wrinkles from shipping came out some and the overlap area was laying more flat against my leg. Still, the excess fabric does look a little floppy on the sides, and I’m thinking maybe I’ll add a stitch or two in order to get it to lay more flat. I wondered how these would look on a larger woman since, of course, all the pictures are a teeny tiny model (& possibly photoshopped). Based on other reviews I sized up one size- I normally wear a medium in everything, but the large in these fit perfectly. I absolutely love these shorts. Technically they are swim shorts, but they are a cute enough cut and the fabric is casual enough that I have also been wearing them as workout shorts, and just hanging out shorts. The higher waist means you can move and bend without fear of your backside showing, and the fit and flare with the side slits makes them very flattering. They are also a good length- not too long and not too short. I was worried the built-in underwear might chafe, but I wore them for 12 hours one day while I cleaned my house and they remained comfortable the whole day. Once wet they do take a little while to dry. I had looked at a $40 pair of North Face shorts before I got these and these are so much nicer and way more affordable. Almost too good to be true!

These are cute, but small run. you can use the draw string to adjust below the waist. I tried a large and they got issues were riding up in between the thighs and consistently pulling them out especially when walking long distances. the other issue was the draw string. I couldn’t get one side to be equal in length in the other side so you have one string extremely long and the other super short. it was a pain to continuing to adjust the draw string and never got them equal to tie a decent looking bow in the front. overall I returned. might work better for others but not with the pain for me. quality is okay but could be constructed better.

Ive been swimming in the ocean, a pool and a water park in these shorts. They fit perfectly, dry fast and are comfortable to wear. Plus I think they look cute and provide just the right amount of modesty for me. I like that they are not tight on the legs and just feel like shorts but have the liner in them like a bathing suit.

I was a little surprised that the quality was pretty nice for these shorts. Only downside is they do run a little small. I usually wear between a 14-16 women’s pants which is why I bought the XL, and they do fit… Just a little more snug than I would like.

Got these today and they’re great. They are spandex throughout so they’re comfortable to move in. I wear a size 14 US and XL fits perfectly, not too snug or too loose and has a drawstring for adjustments. They come with built in underwear so there no worry about needing bikini bottoms underneath. The leg openings are comfortable, not tight or baggy, very similar to a typical pair of shorts.

These are low rise, so I was not that happy with them. Then, I tried them out with a bathing suit top and they are perfect. The draw-string helps adjust and tighten them. Nice for the price.

Bought these for a trip to Hawaii. The fit is what I wanted. Bathing suit bottom with a little extra coverage. That being said, I don’t know how long these will last if you plan on wearing them throughout an entire summer. You can kind of see in the picture that the threads of the inseam hang down below the lengths of the leg of the short. I can tack these up easily with thread and needle, but this may mean the inseam will unravel after multiple wear and washes. I am 5’4 130-ish pds and bought a medium.

The design of this is exactly what I wanted. A swimsuit short with complete bikini bottoms attached only at the was it underneath. I am very pleased. I wear a 16 pants and am apple not pear shaped. Definitely a little on the heavy side. I got an XL and they fit very comfortably dry, maybe even a little too loose. We shall see if they feel secure when wet or heavy when wet. Heavy as in to fall off. I don’t know yet. The dark pink band is really a purple band. Not a deal breaker for me. I would have gone with solids if that had been a choice, but alas.

If you want low-mid rise swim short bottoms, these are great. The built in panty cuts nice and covers all. I don’t know why I was expecting a high-rise short, but this is not it. As far as low/mid-rise goes, this fits fantastic. The lace is soft, not scratchy, which is a huge plus

I do have a bit of a butt, but they aren’t grabbing me in an uncomfortable manner. They are definitely worth to buy. I buy one piece swimsuits but I don’t like the cut of the bottoms so I buy shorts like they used to wear over that. I put these on with the swimsuit I just got and it looked amazing. You will be double layered because the one-piece swimsuit and the inner layer of the shorts oh, but it’s not too uncomfortable

After reading other reviews I purchased this item a size up from my normal size. I definitely could have gone with my normal size. It was slightly big but not enough to return it. I like that it sits a little higher on my hips so I don’t have to worry about it sliding off when I am sitting or squatting. The length is also good. I spend a lot of time in the pool so my swim stuff tends to bleach and stretch fairly quickly but these seem to be holding up well. I will be purchasing a new pair when my current ones wear out.

But we were going on vacation to Cancun and I wanted to be comfortable out on the beach.I usually wear a size 12/14 jean (which are a quite snug in the store, but are perfect once they’re broke in) and the size XL of these shorts was perfect. There was no pinching, the elastic didn’t dig into my hips, and they stayed put without issue while swimming in the ocean.I had bought a couple different sizes and returned the ones that didn’t fit. These will be my go-to for future swimming-related outings and I think I’ll buy some more in additional colors.

Nice stretchy material. They have attach boy cut underwear attached inside. The xxl fit her perfect. They are not low rise and come up by the belly. The band is almost a waist control I thought because it flatten her stomach a bit. They were fitted very nicely. She wears a xl so I would definitely size up if you want a looser fitted look. I got this for a vacation to Hawaii and it worked WONDERFULLY. When the material gets wet it’s smooth and feels fine against the leg. Although I wear a swimsuit, the panty liner portion is a great quality to have and the shorts also dry fairly quickly. I got it a size up and it fit very well like in the picture, but if you want it tighter on the legs I would recommend your normal size. I have larger thighs and a smaller waist, so I appreciated the drawstring!
