The fabric is a thicker t-shirt material and soft. I am not a fan of sweatshirt material so I am so glad this outfit comes in the T-shirt material. I bought two more of these in different colors. There was no shinking after washing and no wrinkling either. Oh and SO soft without itchy stitches etc to irritate. The color I bought was the color the model is wearing.
