UPDATE: After washing these shorts twice, that awkward bunch on the back seam is now gone and it fits perfectly! Now I changed it from 4 stars to 5I LOVE these shorts!! Super flattering, perfect length, and very comfortable. However, there are two reasons why they get 4 stars instead of 5. One, instead of a button plus a zipper, it just has 1 button plus 4 hidden buttons, which kinda makes it an inconvenience when you're taking them off for the bathroom. Second, the back bunches awkwardly on the seam and kind of sticks out. Other than that, these are my new favorite pair of shorts!

I got a 00 in jive stone and they are perfect on the butt. Not too tight, a little bit of room to give a bit of a mom shorts vibe, but not baggy at all. These really make my butt look good. They are the perfect length! Not too short! I was worried they would be. Short enough to be sexy but your cheeks won't be hanging out of these. The waist is a tad bit loose so a belt might help, but they aren't falling off and I could wear them without one. I highly reccommend.

They have a bit of a stiffer more vintage feel (Tango Stonewash option) and look which is perfect, they're button up, actually high rise, a perfect length for shorts where you can bend down and not worry but short enough to look cute. I was in between sizes according to my measurements and the size chart. I recently had a baby and so I still have 15 extra pounds that hangs out in my butt, love handles, and thighs. None of my pre-pregnancy shorts fit me so I had to start accumulating bigger shorts. According to measurements, my waist was a size 27 but my hips were a size 28. I read reviews that says there is no stretch in the fabrics (it's true) so I ended up buying both sizes and decided to return whatever didn't fit. I would normally lean toward the smaller size but again, post pregnancy body is different and I'm still adjusting. The smaller size (27) came first. Fits perfectly! So I canceled the size 28 order. Shouldve went with my instinct with the size 27. Love the shorts though! High waisted and comfy! Definitely on the shorter side so if you're not comfortable with short shorts then don't buy these! I've attached two quick pics for reference. I am 5'6 and about 135lbs.

I bought these in the Jive Nebula, and they are AWESOME. They are medium to heavy weight denim that is 99% cotton, 1% elastane. They do not feel like they have any stretch, but the elastane will keep them from bagging out. I love fraying around the hem - just enough to make them super cute. They will get tons of wear this summer because they fit amazing! The fit is more snug than the same shorts in the Sansome Breeze, but both are very flattering. I still sized up because I the 26 in the Sansome fit well. For reference, : 5'6 , #118. The color of the denim is medium with somewhat lighter bleached splotches, which makes them stand out but not too much. I love that they are slightly different from all my other denim shorts, but the tie dye effect is subtle enough that they can be worn with a variety of tops without being too busy. VERY happy with these!!!

After reading reviews, I decided to order one size up from the size that I normally wear in jean shorts and they fit perfect! I prefer my jean shorts a little on the loose side but if you prefer yours tighter then your normal size would probably work. I expected these to be super rigid and stiff but was pleasantly surprised that there is a little bit of stretch to them! The only thing that I'm not a fan of is the buttons instead of a zipper but that's how a lot of denim shorts are so not really a complaint, just a preference. Overall, good quality for the price! I got San so me trash 501 size 2. They are way to large. I have another Levi's denim shorts in size 2 and they fit well. These are almost a inch way to big on my 26 inch waste. When I compare them to my other Levi's you can clearly see these are biggier about 1 inch. The Levi's on the bottom in pic are the 501 San so me trash. I am 5'2 with weight of 117lbs. I first ordered a size 31, as I am a 32 normally and have lost some weight. After reading reviews that these shorts do not stretch I thought I would be safe. The 31 are very tight so I sized up to 34 and they fit perfect! There is no stretch so I would recommend sizing up.

They are cute, but I am older and not sure I am confident enough to wear in public. I am on a weight loss journey though and I think if I lost a little in my upper thighs I would be more comfortable with them. They fit my waist and hips fine I got the sz 32(14) but I am usually a 12 in women's. I am not sure if I will keep them, but it has nothing to do with the company or quality of them.

I'm so happy with this purchase. I had ordered a darker pair previously and many reviews recommended sizing up...but I didn't find that to be the case. The first pair fit fine, but are looser than I was hoping so this time around I got my normal size they fit like a glove. Not as much stretch in the lighter/ripped style so they hold their shape.

Ignore the reviews that say to size up. I wear a 4 in Rag & Bone and Seven for All Mankind shorts, but sixed up to a 6. Had to return for my normal size 4 (27). Also keep in mind these are button closure, no zipper. Love that these are 100% cotton, hard to find jeans without elastane these days!

I normally wear a 0/25 in Abercrombie & Fitch shorts so I ordered the same in these. This was my first pair of non stretch jean shorts and they fit great when I first got them. However they stretched out after a few days of wear and I had already ripped the tags off so I did not return. They fit amazing after washing, but after a few wears they get loose and frumpy (see pics). They are super comfy though.

Wow! I did NOT expect amazon to sell such flattering and comfortable Levi's shorts for such an amazing price. I've paid for Levi's shorts on UO for $60+, so to see them on here and to basically pay half the price is incredible. Just get your normal size in Levi's and they'll fit the exact same!

Okay so I read a ton of the reviews with the sizing before purchasing, I am 5'1 and about 102 lbs and I am usually a size 25. I didn't want them to be too tight, went a size up to the 26 and they fit perfect. Not tight/ completely covered everything and so cute !!! Love them

Overall great purchase. I bought 3 different colors including this one. Of the 3, the lightest colored denim had an intentional rip that I wish wasn't there and was not shown in the photo. However, I still kept it as the rip was a small one.

I LIVE FOR LEVI'S!!! These are so so flattering and comfy. They don't stretch out a ton and become flimsy and they are such good quality that I don't feel like I need to wash them until at least 3-4 wears. Highly recommend. Definitely go 1 size up, but that's usually expected with Levis jeans.

The color and distressing are great and you can feel the quality! After reading the reviews and everyone saying to size up, I decided to order the 27 though my measurements put me more at a 26. They are a little big, particularly in the waist, but not enough to return. I would advise that the size guide is accurate and to order the size that most closely matches your measurements! The shorts do not have a lot of stretch though so if you are between sizes, I would order the larger of the two.
